MEET OUR FOUNDER

I know how it feels to be stuck in a cycle of chasing a false sense of health, desperate to feel truly vibrant again.
Much of my teenage and early adulthood years were spent disconnecting from the inner voice begging me to be more kind to myself, in order to fit the mold of what is often viewed as “healthy”. I was implementing unsustainable, draining, and damaging practices all in the name of “wellness”, only to crash and burn in the worst state of health I had ever been in. Despite being my “thinnest” and “fittest”, I had developed debilitating gastrointestinal and digestive issues, lost my menstrual cycle for over 2 years, became symptomatic for PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), and started battling regular anxiety attacks.
After multiple visits with various doctors and specialists with no solution or improvement, I had finally decided enough was enough and I needed to take true responsibility for my state of health.
All along I had been making efforts in my health far more complicated and counterproductive than they needed to be. What my body really needed was to slow down, to be nourished, to move with intention, and to reestablish safety within my skin. This became increasingly true upon becoming a mom.
After working in the fitness industry for several years, I started to notice that this was more often not the message that was being portrayed, especially for women. I was seeing women crash and burn, just like me, in pursuit of a distorted image on what being healthy truly means. I became exceedingly passionate about flipping the script on how women should approach wellness, to truly thrive, and thus Empower was born.
Now I get to thrive, feeling and functioning at my true best, and empower other women who are seeking to do the same.

If you are undecided on which offering would best support you in your abilities, stage of life, and health goals, we recommend scheduling a 90-minute Consultation + Assessment where we do a full work-up on what it will take to achieve your ideal self.

Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible to use funds from your HSA/FSA/HRA to help cover your costs of our services. Talk with your doctor about obtaining a ‘Letter of Medical Necessity’ in order to use these funds.

Yes! While we do have a staffed childcare room for when you would like some time to yourself, we also don’t mind you keeping your little one close and modeling for them how you choose to show up for yourself and your health.

Not just inclusive, but celebratory. No matter what age, stage, or ability you hold, we hold space for each and every need. We currently serve women from their teens up to their 80s.

Our classes are curated for women of all ages, stages, and abilities, and will vary throughout the week to incorporate each important component of fitness: strength, cardio, endurance, mobility, flexibility, recovery, and mindset.
